Well I have a good FICO score and not because I’m in tons of debt but because I use my credit card for nearly every purchase and then I pay it off before the grace period is up. Since it’s a cash rewards credit card I make money doing this! Think about it.

While I think it is certainly admirably not to have any debt, don’t you think it can be useful in some forms? For example, it is certainly nice to order thing over the internet with a credit card and if you ever want to rent a card you will definitely need a credit card.

My approach has always been to be smart about credit. Don’t over extend and be responsible. Credit has its benefits.
